Separation is hard on families, and the conflict doesn’t always end when an agreement is reached. I offer calm, trauma-informed and child-focused support at every stage, from preparing for mediation through to making orders work in daily life.
FDR and Mediation (half-day or full-day)
Structured mediation for parenting and property matters, held in person in Melbourne or online Australia-wide. Shuttle and online options are available where being in the same room isn’t safe or comfortable.
Mediation preparation
One-on-one sessions so each party arrives clear on their priorities, realistic about options and ready to negotiate. This often makes the mediation itself shorter and more productive.
Co-parenting and divorce coaching
Practical support for parents to communicate better, manage conflict and keep their children’s needs at the centre of their decisions.
Parenting coordination
Ongoing support for high-conflict families once orders or agreements are in place. I help parents resolve day-to-day disputes as they arise, such as changeovers, schedules and holidays, without returning to court. Over time, I build their capacity to make decisions together.
About me
I’m a lawyer admitted in Victoria in 2005, a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Parenting Coordinator. I’m also a Churchill Fellow, Creswick Fellow and founder of the Parenting Coordination Institute, and was named Australian Mediator of the Year at the 2023 Australasian Law Awards.
