SYNPOSIS OF CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
As a result of my training in critical care nursing and psychotherapy, I have over the last 35 years pioneered, developed and implemented a transformative integrative process, for a paradigm shift, to heal inner conflict.
Over my long career I have worked with a plethora of devastating human issues for transformation and as a qualified trainer have written and facilitated a number of programs for education and transformation. My career has also included a psychotherapeutic law program, in which my ex-husband (a barrister, solicitor) and I worked together, in the field of criminal and family law. We achieved a track record of positive outcomes for many of our clients incorporating a rehabilitation program, whereby our client did not incur a prison sentence or be at the effect of recidivism. We were also successful in many instances, facilitating an amicable outcome within the family law court that often involved the complex painful issues of sexual abuse, domestic violence, children at risk, for compassionate resolution.
My clinical experience encompassed alcohol and drug addiction that often was a precursor for the client to be charged with a criminal offence, for example drug trafficking, etc.
Many of the psychotic and sociopathic behaviours that we addressed within our therapeutic law model included attempted murder, drug fuelled violent crime, violent assault both physical and sexual, arson, robbery, drug trafficking, alongside working with clients suffering from P.T.S.D., due to torture, incarceration and veterans suffering from P.T.S.D.
Throughout my extensive career I have also worked with many clients suffering from depression, suicide ideation, and the devastating impact of sexual assault, incest within our human personality, for healing and transformation. The client was able to successfully wean off long term antidepressant medication, with the debilitating side effects, in conjunction with the relevant medical practitioner.
The program provides a health and wellbeing component, encapsulating the importance of the mind body connection, to release stress overload within the nervous system for homeostasis.
I am highly experienced in writing psychological reports on behalf of the client for court matters, when necessary.
A brief overview of the process for the client to progressively heal the devastating impact of the abovementioned issues, is available on request.
