Next Chapter Child Contact Service is a community-based outreach service that provides a safe, child-focused environment for children to spend time with a non-residential parent and/or family member. Our service supports children and families to build and maintain positive relationships, even in complex family circumstances.

We offer fully supervised contact in a professional, non-judgemental setting, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times. Our service is impartial and provides clear, factual case notes when required.

• When parents are separated and support is needed to facilitate visits with the parent whom the child does not live with, Family Contact Service provides a professional, non- judgemental supervised child time spent/access service.
• The Family Contact Service team provides a service that combines innovation and professionalism. Our experience shows us that when parents are fully engaged in the process, the child (and the family) benefits immensely – our service is structured to ensure this level of participation from parents.
• As an outreach service, we work with families to plan for a positive meeting between parents and their children, before facilitating meetings in community locations (such as playgrounds) and, when appropriate tranferred to a home environment.
• Our highly capable, experienced and qualified team is able to work with complex and high-risk cases, including those involving domestic violence, with confidence and sensitivity. In addition to providing supervised time spent/access, our team provides impartial and factual case notes.
